His Vision, Life, and Legacy.

Kev’Vion Ray Schrubb affectionately known by his family and friends as Kevvy or Kev would light up any room he walked into with his big smile and infectious laughter. Kev’Vion’s passion for football started at a young age. He attended Central East High School, where his passion for football strengthened. After graduating from Central East High School, Kev’Vion received a football scholarship to Western Colorado University, where he played defensive back and majored in business. During college, he found his passion for entrepreneurship, which led to his creation of “ No Love”, a clothing company that grew quickly and was influential in Fresno, CA.  

Kev’Vion’s love for Fresno inspired him to give back to the community by donating to different organizations and working with underprivileged youth. It was his love for the City of Fresno that made him so loved and respected. 

Best Friends For Life

Kev’Vion Ray Schrubb was killed in a shooting on August 8, 2021.  Kev’Vion’s best friend,  Chicago Bears Star Defender Jaylon Johnson started Kevvy’s Vision Project in memory of his late friend. Kevvy’s Vision Project strives to empower and motivate underprivileged communities while giving them equal opportunities to succeed. 

Kev’Vion will forever be missed and loved by his family and friends. Kev’Vion’s vision of empowering and motivating underprivileged communities will continue to live on through Kevvy’s Vision Project. 

Jaylon Johnson

Jaylon is a star defender with the Chicago Bears. He is from Fresno California and attend Central East High School.  He is also the founder of the Kevvy’s Vision Project. Jaylon started the Kevvy’s Vision Project in memory of his late best-friend, Kev’Vion Ray Schrubb. Just like Kev’Vion, Jaylon loves the city of Fresno and through Kevvy’s Vision he strives to empower, motivate, and give equal opportunities to the Fresno Community.
